Album of photographs by Franjo Mosinger

    picture-1

    1943
Linen, cardboard, metal, black and white photographs

The album with the title 'Tito' with 41 photographs is a form of a diary of the author's life and work in the partisan movement. Franjo Mosinger (1889-1956) describes through photographs his departure to join the antifascist struggle on May 11th 1943. He had worked in the Agitprop of the Central Committee of the Croatian Communist Party in Otocac as chief of the photographic section, which was charged with 'organising the mass production of photographic propaganda and taking historic and documentary pictures of our struggle'.

His wife, Mila Mosinger, donated the album to the Museum in 1966.
