    picture-1

    Metal, leather, photographic lens
    2.5 x 8 x 11 cm

A camera of the 'Ihage' brand consists of an optical system (camera body, pullout mechanism, central shutter that determines the length of exposure and a system for rewinding the film - 127 roll film).

The camera was used by camp inmates at the Sremska Mitrovica camp in 1937 and 1938. Pictures of inmates were taken with it, and a conspiratorial photographic division was founded. Its members were Bojan Kugler, Milan Apih and Srecko Vladimir. In 1938 pictures of some inmates were taken at Lepoglava. The camera was hidden inside a book, carried by the inmates during their walks.

The camera was bought from its former owner, Bojan Kugler, in 1964.
