Manuscript: 'Diary with the Partisans (1943-1944)' by Vladimir Nazor


on the way from Bosnia to Montenegro author Vladimir Nazor 1943 - 1944 Paper, binding made of hard cardboard with ribbon for tying drawn through, text on pages 1 to 172, written on a typewriter, on pages 1 to 48 hand-written 17.2 x 21.2 cm, 220 pages On the cover page an ink drawing representing the head of a partisan woman. The first part of the manuscript (typewritten, with the author's corrections written by hand) contains chapters: I. Getaway from Zagreb, II. In the Ostosac castle, III. On the move, IV. Resting at Govza, V. Underground Bosnias, VII. From Tara to Durmitor; the second (handwritten) part is entitled Snowflakes and Sparkles. The Diary was concluded on August 20th 1944.
