    The brochure describes political events in Croatia (the Independent State of Croatia) until 1943, and it states '... the partisan volunteer army is the only force that can protect the Croatian people from fascism'.

    Ivo (Ivan) Lolo Ribar (1916 - 1943) was from 1939 onwards a very active communist secretary and one of the organisers of the partisan uprising. He was killed on Glamoc Plain in 1943.
