The Jubilee Husbandry Exhibition in Zagreb in 1891


Paper, leather, print Hinko Krapek 1891 (?) 33 x 42 x 5 cm Hardbound album with binding done in reddish skin decorated with gold print. The album contains 36 photographs of scenes from the exhibition held on the Market Square (later on the Theatre Square). The Album was published on the occasion of the second great Zagreb exhibition, hosted by the Croatian and Slavonic Husbandry Society to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Society's activity. The economic, cultural and political importance of the exhibition is in that it linked Croatian lands in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Bought for the Museum in 1962. I. Kampus, I.
