Handle made of yellow bone with incised ears. The joint is made of gilt metal decorated with eighteen coral grains set in studs shaped like rosettes. The extension of the hilt was cast in one piece and decorated with an etched and gilt Baroque decoration. The blade is steel, single-edged and curved with a narrow fuller running along the blunt edge. Both sides of the blade have an etched and partially gilt decoration and a partially gilt Arabian inscription that can be translated as follows: (recto) 'I place my trust in my maker, his slave Emin. O noble and eternal one, bless this blade. Do not allow its owner to fall while it remains true. Mohammed, look kindly on your follower Emin'; (verso) 'Owner and bearer Emin-aga. 1242. Yemliha, Meskelina, Meslina, Mernus, Dabernus, Saznus, Kefestatayus, Kitmir. Made by Omer.'

The scabbard is wooden, entirely sheathed in silver, the mouth richly decorated in filigree, and the remainder with Baroque ornaments. The chape of the scabbard is in the shape of a fish's head.
