The breastplate and helmet are a part of the cavalry armour of an arquebusier, a light cavalryman. The neckline and arm-lines are edged with a rope motif. The stomach has a beak-like protrusion. Below the neckline the number 26 is forged. The helmet has a high crest running down the rounded half-sphere head guard to the back of the head and neck. A guard on the forehead. Ear-guards are forged out of a single piece of sheet iron with five holes, fixed to the half-sphere with hinges and rivets. On the lower part of the back, a collar is fixed with rivets.
