The hilt without a casing ends in a massive round pommel ground on both sides. The crosspiece is straight, four-sided, with widening arms. The blade is wider, double-edged with a fuller in the middle.
Parson Granic excavated the sword in 1873 at Gornje Muce in Dalmatia, at the site next to the inscription of Prince Branimir.
