Oval, in the seal field coat of arms of Triune Kingdom of Dalmatia, Croatia and Slavonia; shield divided, quartered in the upper part - coat of arms of the Kingdom of Dalmatia to the right (three crowned leopards' heads in gules), coat of arms of the Kingdom of Croatia to the left (chequered white and gules 3x3) to the left. In the lower part two wavy bars in azure with a marten (in vert) running between them, a five-pointed star above them. St Stephen's crown above the shield, inscription below the shield: NARODNI MUZEJ, and surrounding it: KRALJEVINE DALM.(acije) HRVATS.(ke) I SLAV.(onije). Handle missing, and the seal plaque ends in an eight-sided pointed ending, which has in its base three rings with decorative profiles.
