J.J. Strossmayer's walking stick


Croatia second half of the 19th century Ebony, ivory, metal, carving length 93 cm Round stick, made of black ebony bound with silver at the tip. The ivory handle carved with figures of the four Evangelists in niches, topped by floral ornaments. Bought in 1976 from Mara Cepelic in Zagreb.
