Lady's snuff-box

    The snuffbox has an oval shape, with a copper-bound lid. Made of enamelled copper, painted in polychrome with flowers and a genre-scene.

    The snuffbox belonged to Eleonora Posavec nee Brunsmid, the first teacher in Vinkovci (died in 1840). It came from the collection of Dr Josip Brunsmid, who donated it to the Museum in 1899.
