Lintel with Glagolitic inscription


Baska 1626 Limestone, carved 35 x 130 x 16 cm The Glagolitic inscription mentioning castaldicks was carved into a lintel that had probably belonged to a church or brotherhood. Today the inscription is fairly worn out because the lintel was later used as a doorstep, and it was then that it had a channel carved in across its entire length.
